Julie Springer-Holmes
Julie Springer-Holmes is an award-winning public relations and marketing professional with over 15 years of international experience from startups to Fortune 500 companies.
During her career she has amassed an impressive list of “firsts”. Some of her most notable accomplishments include becoming the first woman to create the public relations strategy for Saudi Arabia’s National Oil Company Saudi Aramco and facilitating the first all-access American media tour of Aramco with CBS 60-Minutes. She also facilitated the first press conference at the Baghdad International Airport in support of Gulf Air’s maiden voyage from Bahrain to Baghdad; created and deployed the first analytics-driven communications strategy for the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association and supported the development and deployment of the association’s first digital strategy. And she created Dell’s first internal communication strategy for their most lucrative line of business, their Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) business unit that resulted in numerous accolades for the department by CEO, Michael Dell.
She is the recipient of the Public Relations Society of America’s Bronze Quill Award and the American Marketing Award for her efforts on the rebranding and repositioning of Shell Oil subsidiary, Shell Energy North America.
And she has served on three crisis communications teams to include Halliburton in Baghdad, Iraq; Shell Trading & Shipping and Saudi Aramco, in Saudi Arabia.
Julie has launched two successful businesses in digital media and public relations respectively and in 2014 was nominated as “Austin’s Best CEO” by the Austin Business Journal.
